In the TV movie The Inherited, newlyweds Eve (Jenn Liu) and Tom Stewart (Nathan Darrow) move into a beautiful old house on the Hudson. The house was left to Tom by his late wife. The moment they move in, things change. Eve can’t sleep or eat. She believes someone else is in the house. And then she’s fed stories about the horrific circumstances of Tom’s first wife’s death, leaving Eve suspicious and scared of Tom. One of the greatest storytellers is the housekeeper, Mrs. Menabar.
Mrs. Menabar is portrayed by Annabella Sciorra. She’s known for her roles in the films Jungle Fever (Angie Tucci), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (Claire Bartel), Cop Land (Liz Randone), Romeo Is Bleeding (Natalie Grimaldi), Cadillac Man (Donna), and Internal Affairs (Heather Peck). Sciorra is also recognized for her roles on the TV shows The L Word (Kate Arden), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Carolyn Barek), and The Sopranos (Gloria Trillo), among others. The Inherited premieres on LMN on June 5 at 8pm. It will air again on June 6 at 12am, June 21 at 10pm, and June 22 at 2am.
