In the Gotham episode “Wrath of the Villains: Pinewood,” after leaving Arkham Asylum, Barbara (Erin Richards) tries to kiss and make up with Gordon (Ben McKenzie) while Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) scans his father’s old calendar and discovers the name Karen Jennings. “It could be someone my father was investigating when he was killed,” Bruce tells Alfred (Sean Pertwee). Alfred says Bruce is getting ahead of himself. But when Bruce says he’s going to meet Karen Jennings “without or without you,” Alfred puts on his coat.
Karen Jennings is portrayed by Julia Taylor Ross. The English-born actress is known for her roles on Saving Hope (Dr. Maggie Lin), Republic of Doyle (Karen Becker), and Rookie Blue (Emily Starling), among others. Fun fact about Ross: She graduated from The New School for Drama in New York in 2010, and has a BA degree in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard. Gotham airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
