On Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, FBI Agent Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) leads an international unit to solve crimes involving Americans in foreign countries. In the series premiere, “The Harmful One,” three American volunteers in Thailand disappear in Bangkok. One of the members of Garrett’s team is the fun and fearless medical examiner, Mae Jarvis.
M.E. Mae is portrayed by Annie Funke. She got her big break when she landed the role of Lorraine Lefkowitz in the 2014 film A Most Violent Year. Since then she’s appeared on two episodes of Showtime’s drama The Affair (as a hotel clerk) and in the 2015 film The Intern (as a member of the ATF Creative Team). Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
