The TV movie Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story tells the story of 7-year-old American Jocelyn Shaker who was abducted from a Colombian resort and her mother’s struggle to find her and bring her home. Jocelyn and her mother Caitlin are visiting Colombia with Caitlin’s new husband Javier (Kamar de los Reyes), a Colombian businessman. Jocelyn is sleeping in the family’s resort room while Caitlin and Javier discuss a business deal with Javier’s partner, Maria (Marcela Mar). When Caitlin goes to check in on Jocelyn, she’s gone. Bogota police suspect Javier of foul play and arrest him.
Caitlin Shaker is portrayed by Kathleen Rose Perkins. She’s best known for her roles on the TV shows Episodes (Carol Rance), NCIS: Los Angeles (Coroner Rose Carlyle), ‘Til Death (Ms. Duffy), Gary Unmarried (Joan Plummer), and Trust Me (Amy). Perkins is also recognized for her roles in the films Gone Girl (Shawna Kelly), The Skeleton Twins (Carlie), and The Pact. Abducted: The Jocelyn Shaker Story will premiere on Lifetime on February 14 at 9pm. It will air again on February 15 at 1am and February 27 at 4pm.
