Gianna Isabella, daughter of pop singer Brenda K. Starr, is one of the Top 24 contestants on the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. When she sang “I Put a Spell On You,” Idol judge Jennifer Lopez said, “The voice is so real.” Then she added: “You have the most privileged voice” in the competition.
Harry Connick Jr. agreed and added, “You’re a great student of American Idol. You know when to hit the big loud notes in all the right places.” What Connick is worried about is how Gianna will challenge herself moving forward. American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
