On Bravo’s new reality series My Fab 4oth, party planner Sarina May takes on the challenge of throwing a joint 4oth birthday party for two former sorority sisters Francine Sanchez and Julie Marcus-Downs. May prefers the job title “lifestyle architect” because she’s not just planning a party, she’s also helping clients to rebrand themselves. (Marcus-Downs is rebranding herself after her divorce.)
May promises Sanchez and Marcus-Downs that they and their friends will be transported via private jet from Las Vegas to Laguna Beach where the party will be held at Seven Degrees. Oh, and May also promised to get their favorite band, Train, to perform. Does everything go according to plan? No. Will you gasp at the price tag? Yes. May’s fee is $25,000. Total damage: $165k. May knows what she’s doing. She’s been running her own luxury lifestyle company in Los Angeles, Echelon Experiences, for seven years. My Fab 40th will air Tuesdays at 10pm on Bravo.
