On Married to Medicine, Dr. Heavenly Kimes is excited to tell her husband, Dr. Damon Kimes, about her new venture, a dating app. Damon is happy that she’s happy, but he’s also concerned about her taking on too much. She’s running her dentistry practice, she does charity work, she’s on a reality TV show… oh, and she has three kids.

When Damon voices his concern about Heavenly’s project load, she gets defensive and tries to turn the tables on Damon and his work load. Her momma taught her to always have more than one source of income. “I’m not other people, Damon, I can’t depend on you.” She explains that when her momma didn’t have a job, she saw how her father acted differently. “To this day, I can’t see me being dependent on any man,” Heavenly says. That said, that’s not Damon’s point. Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
