Ever since Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson announced that her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers has cancer, she hasn’t received the support that she expected. Quite the opposite. Her former BFF Tamra Judge and her husband Eddie don’t even believe Brooks has cancer. Same goes for newbie Meghan King Edmonds. It’s understandable in a way: Brooks looks better than ever.

Brooks is said to have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and is seeking unconventional cancer treatments. The fact that Brooks “doesn’t look sick” hasn’t help the rumors. But it’s not atypical. As Brooks supporter TomZefi writes: “My father in law has been diagnosed with the exact cancer. yesterday he finished his fifth treatment and he looks great.” And Samantha Rose chimed in: “I am a Stg4 progressive Stg5 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor!!
