DJ Tony Moran’s single “Free People” features the voice of the legendary, two-time Grammy Awardnominated singer Martha Wash. Moran and Wash have worked together before. Their single Keep Your Body Working was #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart in 2007.
Wash was one of The Weather Girls in the early 1980s. The duo’s famous single “It’s Raining Men” went platinum. (It’s still an anthem, heard at celebrations everywhere.) Wash seems to have found her groove in House music. She’s picked up the title of The Queen of Clubland. Moran and Wash will perform “Free People” on So You Think You Can Dance, June 15 at 8pm on Fox.
