Monica Olsen was a sexy young model before becoming the mother of two children with her husband, vitamin tycoon Dino Guglielmelli. (He owned the $50 million business Creation’s Garden.) When Olsen wanted to get back into modeling — she’s in her 30s — she posed for what some would consider “raunchy” modeling photos. One thing is for sure: it doesn’t look like she gave birth to two children.
When Dino saw the photos went berserk with jealousy. The idea of other men ogling his wife in a magazine drove him crazy. And he thought something was going on between Monica and the photographer at the shoot. Monica eventually filed for divorce. Guglielmelli sought revenge by trying to hire a friend, an Army vet named Richard Fuhrmann, to kill Olsen for $80,000. Fuhrmann went to the police. In 2014, Guglielmelli was sentenced to spend nine years in jail. The murder-for-hire case will be featured on 48 Hours on June 9 (10pm, CBS).
