Actor Jerry Ferrara is best known for his role as Salvatore “Turtle” Assante in the HBO hit Entourage. Turtle has changed a lot over the years. Although he’s still driving his childhood friend turned Hollywood actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) around town, Turtle has started a business and has made millions of his own.
The series has been adapted for the big screen — Entourage The Movie will be released on June 3. Ferrara said he was nervous on the film set. He recently told ScreenRant, “We got to shoot a couple of days in Miami before we really, really got started. I remember being nervous the night before and then nervous after we did the first take. And then, by take two we were just doing Season 9, like nothing else has changed.” He added, “It’s like we never missed a beat.” The TV show ended its run in 2011. Jerry Ferrara talk more about the making of Entourage the movie on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens: Live on May 27 (11pm, Bravo).
