On the Season 12 premiere of The Voice, coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani are blown away by the talent of 16-year-old Anatalia Villaranda of Temecula, California. At the Blind Auditions she sings the Bruno Mars song “Runaway Baby” until all four coaches turn around. After the performance they shower the adorable teenager with praise. Blake is impressed with her high energy. Alicia loves that she’s not afraid to express herself. And Gwen Stefani pushes Anatalia’s buttons with promises to “talk about fashion.” Coach Adam Levine, a multiple winner, drops the dream bomb telling Anatalia, “I do believe you could win this entire thing.”
When Adam sees Anatalia trying to decide which coach she should work with, he asks her, “What do I need to say in order for you to pick me?” The 16-year-old says “This is so hard. It’s like picking cake.” Adam yells, “I have cake! I have tons of cake back stage.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm 0n NBC.
