A&E is introducing a new TV series, a horror show called The Returned. It’s about a small town in the mountains that’s turned upside down when people who were long presumed dead suddenly reappear. They’re not your typical zombies – for starters, they look terrific! They haven’t aged and they’re unaware of their own fatality, which of course freaks out the mortals who have been grieving their deaths. But then even weirder stuff happens – a series of gruesome murders begin to occur.
The season premiere of The Returned (Monday, March 9 at 10pm) focuses on a young woman named Camille Winship. Camille is portrayed by 20-year-old India Ennenga. She’s best known for her role as Sofia Bernette in the HBO hit drama Treme. She also played the daughter of Meg Ryan in the 2008 film The Women with Jada Pinkett Smith and Eva Mendes. When not reappearing on The Returned, Ennenga is studying at Brown University. She’ll graduate in 2016.
