The film Get Hard starring comedians Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart is getting mixed reviews. But it’s predicted to do well at the box office. Early tracking has Get Hard at $31 million for its first three days. The film was written and directed by 41-year-old Harvard graduate Etan Cohen.
Cohen launched his career writing episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head in the 1990s and wrote for King of the Hill in the 2000s. Those gigs allowed him to make a short film called My Wife Is Retarded. After that he started writing screenplays for feature films including Tropic Thunder starring Ben Stiller, Men in Black 3 starring Will Smith, and now Get Hard. His next film is Daddy’s Home starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.
