Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed into law a measure that allows businesses to turn away gay and lesbian customers in the name of protecting “religious freedom.” Pence, btw, is considering a bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
Billionaire Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.com, reacted by cancelling “all programs that require our customers & employees to travel to Indiana to face discrimination.” He followed that message with another: “Attention Tech CEOs/Industry: pay attn to what is happening in IN & how it will impact your employees & customers.”
