I sighed and pushed my loose blonde hair behind my ear and waited for the hostess Trish to seat my next customer. I headed for the table when my boss Mackey grabbed me by the elbow.
“Go on home early tonight Gemma. You have been here the longest and we are running slow,” he said exposing his yellow teeth.
