The new Marvel TV series that will air during Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D.’s winter break, Agent Carter, just hired another actress. While Hayley Atwell will reprise her Captain America role as the star of the show Peggy Carter, actress Bridget Regan (John Wick, White Collar, Jane the Virgin) will have a recurring role as Dottie, Peggy’s next door neighbor.
Marvel describes Dottie as a “small-town girl from Iowa who will have a huge impact on Agent Carter’s life.” That’s right. Marvel has plotted to have two sexy single women living next door to each other in the 1940s. Agent Carter will debut Tuesday, January 6 at 9pm ET on ABC.
