The whip smart former editor of Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and the Daily Beast, Tina Brown, says President Obama’s declining popularity is partly due to the fact that so many American women feel at risk. “They feel unsafe, economically; they’re feeling unsafe with regard to ISIS; they’re feeling unsafe about Ebola,” she said in an interview on MSNBC. “What they’re feeling unsafe about is the government response to different crises.”
Dems will want to listen up–Brown is an expert at how to read public sentiment. Taking society’s pulse is an editor-in-chief’s job–and over the year’s no one has been better at it that Tina Brown. Brown says the perception of Obama now is that he’s “too cool.”
