Before leaving the 22 second interview, Thompson planted a kiss on Thompson’s head. Clifton smiled in surprise.
Kissing someone on the job isn’t the most professional move but it seemed harmless to many. Although some called the kiss “disgusting” and claim Thompson “straight up sexually harassed” the reporter. “Don’t kiss someone without their consent, ever, and don’t kiss someone without their consent while they’re doing their job,” is good advice from Kelly Dwyer, editor for Ball Don’t Lie on Yahoo Sports.
