A swanky restaurant in the Mayfair neighborhood of London called 34, has made a champagne glass – a shallow, broad-bowled, stemmed glass – based on the shape of supermodel Kate Moss’s left breast. The limited collection was used to celebrate Moss’s 40th birthday and her 25 years of working in the fashion industry.
Moss is not the first fashionable celebrity to have a glass shaped around her bosom. Legend has it that the first champagne glass coupe was modeled on Marie Antoinette’s left breast. Moss told Vogue that it was an honor to be alongside the French Queen in champagne history: “She was a very intriguing and mischievous character.” Good thing Moss didn’t get that “tit job” she wanted when younger. And yes, 34, is her bust size.
