BJ Novak Cracking Kids Up With ‘The Book With No Pictures’

Actor BJ Novak (best known for his work on The Office) is cracking kids up with his latest book, The Book with No Pictures. Why is a 35-year-old man without children of his own writing for kids? Because is loves to get a laugh. And a laugh from a kid is real. As Novak explains, with kids, “there’s no such thing as polite laughter or social laughter.”

As the title suggests, The Book with No Pictures does not include illustrations. Kids laugh listening to the reader, an adult, saying silly things they don’t normally say or want to say like Blurrp and “I am a monkey.” For those who need a visual, there is a trailer of Novak reading the book to a room full of kids.
