Former SNL cast member Amy Poehler is promoting her memoir, Yes Please, which hit shelves October 28. So she’s now talking about her divorce from Will Arnett. They were married for nine years and have two children, Archie, 5, and Abel, 6. Poehler told E! News that her breakup with Arnett was “too sad” and “too personal” to discuss in detail but she assures fans that Arnett continues to be a wonderful father.
In May 2013, about nine months after her separation, Poehler started dating comedian Nick Kroll. She says of him: “He puts his hand on my chest and tells me boring stories… On one of our first nights together I woke up apologizing for my snoring and he pulled out two earplugs he had worn to bed so he could hear what I was saying.” She said it was “one of the most romantic gestures I have ever seen.”
