The King of Cleveland LeBron James and his business partner Maverick Carter are co-executive producers of the new CNBC reality show Cleveland Hustles. It’s like Shark Tank but just for local entrepreneurs in Cleveland. In the premiere episode a bagel company and a hair salon try to woo local investor Alan Glazen who will award one of them an investment and a brick-and-mortar spot in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District.
CNBC refers to the host of the show, Bonin Bough, as “LeBron James’ and Maverick Carter’s hand-picked host.” Bough is the Chief Media and eCommerce Officer at Mondelēz International (formerly Kraft Foods), one of the largest snack food companies in the world. He’s in the Advertising Hall of Fame, and on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list, among other accolades. He is also the author of the recently released book, Txt Me: Your Phone Has Changed Your Life.
