Seattle schoolteacher Mary Kay Letourneau, 34, was married with four children when she fell in love with a 13-year-old boy named Vili Fualaau. When she became pregnant with his child, she was forced to go public with their relationship. She was arrested for child rape, and gave birth to Fualaau’s child in prison. When released, one year later, she was told to stay away from Vili Fualaau, but she didn’t. She was sent back to jail and gave birth to their second daughter. Nearly 20 years later, Letourneau and Fualaau are still together and about to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. Their two daughters are now teenagers.
Letourneau-Fualaau is now 53, Fualaau is 31. Barbara Walters will interview the couple and their daughters on ABC News “20/20”, Friday, April 10 at 10pm.
