Hip hop artist Game produced a musical tribute to the slain teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. With fellow rappers including Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Diddy, Wale, DJ Khaled, Yo Gotti, and more, Game said the horrific tragedy “really hit home for me and I feel compelled to use my musical platform to address this.”
Diddy’s verse in “Don’t Shoot” starts: “ Yo, come on we gotta stick together, we all we got / Police taking shots and I ain’t talkin’ bout Ciroc.” For years Diddy has enjoyed a lucrative partnership with Diageo, owner of Ciroc vodka. According to Forbes, Diddy’s interest in Ciroc is worth somewhere in the “low-to-mid nine-figures.”
