It’s taken four years to complete the recently released Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part I starring action hero superstar Tom Cruise.
The Hollywood icon and his co-stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby and Rebecca Ferguson and director Christopher McQuarrie (Top Gun: Maverick) were recently traveling around the world promoting the new film at red carpet events, as seen below in Sydney, Australia.
But that was before members of SAG-AFTRA decided to strike. As seen below, English actors Atwell (Agent Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Pegg (Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars) joined the picket line in Leicester Square in London with SAG-AFTFA members of Equity UK.
Swipe to see other Hollywood celebrities striking including Brian Cox (Succession, The Bourne Identity, Braveheart, Rushmore) and Andy Serkis (The Batman, Planet of the Apes).
Atwell’s fans love the photos and how “cool” she looks while striking. As one replied: “lookin super duper ultra cool in your sunnies just need to wear simon’s hat :p but make sure he says so :p.”
Get ready to see more of the Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part I cast — they will appear next on the big screen together in Dead Reckoning, Part II, which is scheduled for a June 28, 2024 release.
