Hollywood movie star Natalie Portman (Black Swan, Garden State) is turning heads at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in a stunning lavender off-shoulder mini dress in silk georgette called ‘Lolita’ by fashion design house Celine, as seen below. From the French Riviera, Portman writes that she’s “grateful to be back here.”
Portman continues to turn heads while in Cannes as seen below in another purplish strapless dress on the famous red steps.
When Portman’s friend, fellow actress Kat Dennings replied “gorgeous” to the photos, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe went wild over the exchange and continue to drop applauding and red heart emojis. (Both actress starred in the Thor movies together.)
Portman played Jane Foster and Dennings played her “hilarious yet highly intelligent intern” Darcy. The two actresses were friends before Thor and, according to Dennings, the writers and Marvel execs on the Thor set tapped into their off-camera friendship and wrote more scenes for Darcy interacting with Jane.
