Hollywood movie star Natalie Portman is known for her roles in films including Black Swan, Closer, Garden State, Jackie, the Star Wars ‘Episode’ franchise and the Thor superhero franchise, among others.
When not on a movie set, Portman is promoting the women’s professional soccer team, Angel City in Los Angeles, with fellow celebrity supporters including Jennifer Garner (Alias), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill), and America Ferrera (Ugly Betty, Superstore).
Portman is also promoting the three-part docuseries about Angel City. The project “goes behind the scenes and onto the pitch of the groundbreaking Los Angeles-based professional women’s soccer team, Angel City Football Club.”
It follows the origin story through the 2022 inaugural season of the female-founded and led team.
For the (note) pink carpet premiere, Portman wore a black crop top jacket with a pair of tiny shorts (by MiuMiu) and open toe heels. Angel City will be released on HBO Max beginning Tuesday, May 16.
