Hollywood movie star Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago, Wednesday, Traffic, The Mask of Zorro) knows how to walk a red carpet. Whether it’s at a premiere from one of her movies or to honor her husband, legendary actor Michael Douglas (Ant-Man and the Wasp, Basic Instinct, Wall Street, Romancing the Stone). As seen below at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Zeta-Jones didn’t disappoint.
For the premiere of Johnny Depp‘s French film, Jeanne du Barry, and the opening ceremony of the film festival, Zeta-Jones turned heads in a red hot Elie Saab Haute Couture gown from the designer’s Spring 2022 collection.
Zeta-Jones and Douglas were accompanied by their daughter Carys Douglas, who stole the spotlight in a stunningly sheer white gown also by Elie Saab but from the Ready-to-Wear Spring 2023 collection.
As the designer says: “this family radiates true grace and elegance.”
Get ready to see more of Mr. Douglas: he’s playing the late U.S. President Ronald Reagan in the upcoming series Reagan & Gorbachev. It focuses on the historic 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev summit in Iceland, “the definitive weekend that was the key turning point in the Cold War.” Christoph Waltz plays Gorbachev.
