Actress/singer Zooey Deschanel celebrates the life of iconoclast Prince, who would have been 64 years old today, with the New Girl clip below. He died in 2016 at the age of 57.
In the Season 3 2014 episode ‘Prince,’ Jess (Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone) are invited to a party thrown by Prince, and the guys try to get inside. As seen in the video, they do. Prince and Deschanel together sing his dance song “Fallinlove2nite.”
Deschanel says: it’s “one of my favorite ‘New Girl’ moments of all time.”
