American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan sold his archive to the Tulsa-based George Kaiser Family Foundation and the University of Tulsa. In May 2022, a 29,000-sqaure-foot museum dedicated to the life and works of Dylan, The Bob Dylan Center, opened in Tulsa. It’s down the street from the Woody Guthrie Center on E Reconciliation Way.
Olivia Harrison, widow of the late great former Beatle George Harrison, was one of the first visitors.
When she saw the announcement above (which suggests that Dylan fans book their reservations now), Olivia Harrison wrote: “💯 it feels like somewhere very special when you are inside. And I didn’t even see it complete. Set aside a couple of days.”
Many Dylan fans agreed with Harrison’s take. One replied: “Agree…there is so much to see and take in. I’m going back next week.
Below is a video featuring some of Olivia Harrison’s artistic work.
