TV network CBS is paying homage to the late great country singer Kenny Rogers with a new star-studded concert special, “Kenny Rogers: All In For the Gambler.” It was filmed at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville before Rogers’ untimely passing. He died of natural causes in March 2020. He was 81.
The concert features on-stage tributes by country music’s finest including Reba McEntire, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, and a special performance by Kenny and Dolly Parton: they sang their famous duet, “Islands in the Stream” (a song written by The Bee Gees). See below.
When not on the road, Kenny spent time with his gorgeous wife of 22 years, Wanda Miller Rogers, 54. (See photo below taken during the Kenny Rogers: All In For the Gambler televised concert).
Kenny and Wanda meet in the early 1990s, at a restaurant in Atlanta where Wanda worked as the hostess. Five years after dating, the two got married on Kenny’s ranch near Athens, Georgia. It was Wanda’s second marriage; Kenny’s fifth. Wanda and Kenny are parents to identical twin sons — Jordan and Justin.
Twins run in Wanda’s family: Wanda has an equally gorgeous twin sister named Tonia Miller (they were born on November 6, 1966). In April 2021, Wanda celebrated National Siblings Day with the gorgeous photo above of her and Tonia. That’s Wanda in the blue fringe bikini! “Two beauties for sure!” wrote one fan; another replied: “Beyond beautiful!”
During his lifetime, Kenny Rogers sold more than 100 million records worldwide making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time: he’s shoulder-to-shoulder with Prince, Paul McCartney and Janet Jackson.
Kenny Rogers: All In For The Gambler airs Thursday, September 23 at 9 pm ET on CBS.
