When not filming Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, actress Mariska Hargitay spends time with family and friends and that includes actresses Brooke Shields and Ali Wentworth — both of whom have appeared on Law & Order: SVU. Shields played the recurring role of Sheila, the biological grandmother of Benson’s (Hargitay) adopted son, Noah.
The three ladies recently went on a girls trip to Arizona to explore Antelope Canyon, a slot canyon of 120-foot tall sandstone walls located on Navajo land. It is accessible by Navajo Nation guided tours only. (It’s about a two-hour drive from the Grand Canyon.)
