NBA legend Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard have a beef still? Nah. That was just a moment in time when Bryant’s competitive desire and perfectionism ran afoul of Howard’s first so-so stint in a Lakers jersey.
Time may not heal all wounds, but it does its work nonetheless. Plus Howard is ballin’ like a superhero these days in his Lakers return, and Bryant is now a spectator, so it’s all good.
Kobe looks so happy to be front row for the new Lake Show in the LeBron James era, he practically kisses Howard on the clavicle while he leans in close to impart some Mamba wisdom. Then Kobe gives Howard the classic teammate pat on the butt, something he sure didn’t get to do much of when they were actual teammates!
Man, if Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard are playing nice, it really is La La Land and the very happy Staples Center. You can only get a glimpse of Howard’s smile — but as usual it lights up!
