Ryan Shazier, the 27-year-old linebacker with the Pittsburgh Steelers, hasn’t played football since sustaining a severe spine injury in 2017. While recovering and on the Steelers Reserve/PUP list for the 2019 season (he’s still getting paid), Shazier went back to school at the University of Pittsburgh. He played college football at Ohio State before being drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
When not on the field, Shazier spends time with his gorgeous wife Michelle Shazier, mother of his two young sons. In 2015, she graduated from Texas State University where she played on the women’s basketball team.
During the beginning of the 2019 NFL season, Shazier posted a photo of him and his wife “hanging out” with singer Chris Brown whom he referred to as The Goat. Many of Shazier’s fans objected to the moniker (e.g., “Michael Jackson is the goat”), many mentioned “domestic violence”, while others said they wouldn’t let Brown near their wives, especially one as beautiful as Shazier’s — who looks amazing in bikinis!
Note to Steelers fans: Shazier still plans on coming back. He said in June: “I still want to make the Hall of Fame, still want to be the best linebacker in the NFL.”
The Miami Dolphins (0-6) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4) game will broadcast live (without Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake) on Monday, October 28 at 8 pm on ESPN.
