The Milwaukee Bucks are starting to resemble a recreational youth team, albeit the greatest — and most gigantic — kids rec team of all time. The news just hit that NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s older brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo will be joining the Bucks after signing a two-year deal.
Check out Giannis and Thanasis practicing some ball handling in Greece high above the Mediterranean Sea — or is it the Aegean Sea? Check out vacations in Mykonos.) Now this is a pretty sweet place to practice — no wonder Thanasis has raised himself to NBA level. (It’s also a fun video to listen to — just the sound of the rock being controlled by two masters.) Anyway, the NBA MVP is clearly enjoying his time away from the Milwaukee hardwood!
This follows the news that there will be another set of brothers on the Bucks — just like on the youth rec teams you played for as a kid. Yup, the 7-foot tall Lopez brothers — Brook and Robin, all 14 feet of them — will team up with the Antetokounmpo brothers for the world’s greatest professional sports double brother act. That 7-footer part is less like your average rec team…
