Whoopi Goldberg, plus-size fashion designer and co-host of the popular political daytime TV show The View, is encouraging her fans to listen to a new song about addiction. It’s George Perris’ single “How Many Does It Take” and Whoopi uses the hashtag #sogood. The 63-year-old Goldberg struggled with a heroin addiction throughout her teen years.
“How Many Does It Take” is the first single from the 35-year-old Greek’s new English album, “Who I’m Meant to Be.” (He also sings in Greek and French.)

Perris co-wrote the song with Eric Rosse and Sasha Sloan. Lyrics include: “How many does it take / To feel nothing at all / How many does it take / Till there’s nothing to recall.” Perris said when Whoopi posted his song, he felt “gobsmacked.”
