Asked earlier this season what was so special about the new-issue Raptors, Thompson shouted out Leonard (“playing at an MVP level”) — and the overall length of the Raptors — before hitting on point guard Kyle Lowry. And especially on Lowry’s leadership, which is often overlooked when fans evaluate the Raptors.
