“Seth [Curry] did a good job of undercutting, cutting off his lane, of making him have to go over his head, ” said C.J. McCollum describing his critical chase-down block during the Game 7 Blazers victory over the Nuggets. “So he put it right there for me and I just went and got it. Bron style, shout out to my guy Bron. It was a mini-version of Bron blocking on Iggy some years ago. Definitely didn’t get up as high, but it was a cool play.” (see McCollum’s talking below.)
Seth Curry‘s name will doubtless come up a lot again in the next series, for doing the little things like this defensive effort, and for the big things like scoring. Oh, and he’ll be playing against his brother. His name is Steph, plays at Golden State. You may have heard the name.
And LeBron heard C.J. for sure:
Oh and you know my favorite play was that chase down block! ✋🏾
