American Idol continues its All-Star Duets on Monday, April 8. On the first night, rock and roll queen Pat Benatar and her guitarist husband Neil Giraldo performed with two female Idol contestants Kate Barnette and Madison Vandenburg. On the second night of the All-Star Duets, two male Idol contestants Dimitrius Graham and Eddie Island get to perform with Danish pop band Lukas Graham. Dimitrius Graham sings Lukas Graham’s “Love Someone” with the band, and Eddie Island sings “7 Years.” For the “7 Years” performance, the band’s lead singer, Lukas Forchhammer, wears one of Eddie’s signature “Mayor” buttons on his shirt. Eddie’s Instagram account is @NashvilleMayor. It’s a nice gesture of support by Lukas, who doesn’t need to go the extra mile — he’s already singing with him.

The button is photo of Eddie with the a political campaign-like banner with the word Mayor covering his eyes and nose. It’s a fun campaign button encouraging fans “on the Island” to Vote for Eddie on American Idol. For $20, you can buy The Eddie Island Starter Kit which includes a MAYOR button, a popsocket, and an autographed 11 x 17 poster. [Related: Lukas Graham Singer Grew Up In Squatter Commune]
