On the two-hour MasterChef “Celebrity Showdown”, celebrity couples and siblings compete against each other in culinary contests for charity. The married couple competing is Empire stars Trai Byers (Andre Lyons) and Grace Gealey Byers (Anika Calhoun). The twin siblings include NFL legends, brothers Ronde Barber and Tiki Barber, and rock stars Joel Madden and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte fame. Although actress Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) is married to famous environmental attorney/author/activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., she is paired with comedian/actor Kal Penn (Designated Survivor). The Maddens are married to celebrities too.
Joel is married to reality TV star turned actress Nicole Richie (anchorwoman Portia on Great News), daughter of superstar singer Lionel Richie. They’ve been married since 2010. His identical twin Benji is married to retired There’s Something About Mary actress Cameron Diaz. They married in 2015. MasterChef airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on FOX.
