The new CBS sitcom FAM is about a recently engaged young couple, Clem (Nina Dobrev) and Nick (Tone Bell). On the very first episode, their lives are turned upside down when they find Clem’s 16-year-old half-sister Shannon (Odessa Adlon) in their apartment. While Clem empathizes with Shannon who has escaped from “their train wreck of a dad” Freddy (Gary Cole), it won’t be easy to tame Shannon’s wild ways. Good thing Clem has Nick’s parents to turn to for parenting help. “They’re the parents of my dreams,” says Clem.
