On the 90 Day Fiance episode “Backed Into a Corner,” Ashley and Jay elope in Vegas, Colt and Larisssa argue in front of friends, and Leida meets with Eric’s ex-wife. That’s a lot of drama. But some of the most dramatic moments of the episode are at Jonathan’s house. Fernanda is still upset about Jonathan coming home late the night before. He says he was just 45 minutes late, she says it was an hour or more. When Jonathan tries to explain that he needed just a little more time to finish his drink, Fernanda says, “But why? I need you at home. I need to be with someone.” When Jonathan points out that she was on the phone with a friend for six hours, she says, “You think that’s the same thing?”
Jonathan thinks the situation is unfair. He’s been out for a drink twice since she’s been with him in America. She points out that she’s been out zero. Jonathan tries to tell him that she’ll have that opportunity, and that she needs to give it more time.
Fernanda doesn’t like that, she calls Jonathan “selfish.” He has a job and a routine and “I have nothing.” Fernanda then breaks down in tears, “I’m bad and I need you.” She cries, “You can’t leave me alone.” Jonathan is “pissed” that she doesn’t get it. He’s working, trying to provide for her and their future, so she’s happy…but clearly she’s not now. 90 Day Fiance airs Sundays at 8 pm on TLC.
