On Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta, Bow Wow’s mom, Teresa Caldwell, confides in Ms. Deb Antney that her son has been struggling with depression for “a very long time” and she’s concerned. Plus, he’s been posting scary messages on social media including “I’m not as okay as I pretend to be” and “Feel like jumping off the balcony.” Caldwell tells Ms. Deb she “cannot wake up and lose my son.” Deb knows what it is like to lose a child. She lost her own son, rapper Kayo Redd, in 2013. He committed suicide at the age of 22.

Meanwhile, Bow goes to see a couples therapist at the bequest of his girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie — but she doesn’t like what he has to say during the session. He accuses her of being jealous and gives her a “love me or leave me” kind of ultimatum. Later, Bow hollers at his ex Masika Kalysha. When she asks Bow what he really wants, he says “I just want a girl who ain’t insecure.” Apparently that’s exactly what Masika wanted to hear because they walk out of the room together and close the door. Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta airs Thursdays at 9 pm on WEtv.
