In the Chicago P.D. episode “Bad Boys,” the team tries to rescue a teenage girl who has been kidnapped by a group of robbers. Sgt. Voight (Jason Beghe) tries to keep the girl’s father, Evan Gilchrist, from getting in the way of the investigation and from making a big mistake. Gilchrist announced a $500,000 reward for the girl — but he doesn’t want it connected to the Chicago Police Department.
Evan Gilchrist is portrayed by Rob Morrow. He’s known for his roles on Billions (Adam DeGiulio), Designated Survivor (Abe Leonard), American Crime Story (Barry Scheck), Entourage (Ari’s attorney Jim Lefkowitz), Numb3rs (Don Eppes), and Northern Exposure (Dr. Joel Fleischman), among others. Morrow is also recognized for his roles in Rob Reiner’s The Bucket List (Dr. Hollins) and as the huge star of Robert Redford’s Quiz Show (Dick Goodwin, see photo below). Chicago P.D. airs Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
