In the Basketball Wives clips below, Shaunie O’Neal is shopping with her two oldest sons, Shareef and Myles. What she doesn’t know is why they’re in a mattress store. Myles explains that since he’s managing Shareef’s career at UCLA, “We need mattresses for our new place” which they don’t have yet. Shaunie says, “Myles wants to buy a house with Shareef which means I’m gonna be buying a house for Myles and Shareef.” Shaunie tells Myles, “This is really jumping the gun.” Myles says “it’s assumed in the contract” that his mother would buy them a place. When she grills Myles about this supposed contract she ends up calling both young men “asses.”
They might be asses but they’re clever asses. They convince their mom that they’re doing all of this — including Shareef hopefully going into the NBA — for her. So they can take care of her. “So you can chill,” says Shareef. Shaunie admits that they said all the right things, but is it enough to get her to buy them a house?
