Duo Transcend is the trapeze duo competing on Season 13 of America’s Got Talent. The duo is married couple Mary Ellen Wolfe and Tyce Nielsen (parents of adorable 2-year-old son Jaxx). On AGT, Tyce has revealed that he suffers from an eye disease which has made him legally blind in his right eye. He is awaiting a cornea transplant. Mary tried to assure the AGT judges that “He can feel where I am” but Mel B didn’t enjoy their act. She was the only judge to give Duo Transcend a “no” vote. During their Judge Cuts performance (Tyce was blindfolded), Mary slipped from Tyce’s hold. It looked like that could spell competitive doom for the couple, but Guest judge Ken Jeong reminded everyone that the aerialists are human and that the show is not called “America’s Got Perfection.”

Two days before their Live Show performance, Duo Transcend posted a video from their training at Kinetic Theory Circus School in Los Angeles. Mary wrote: “When your 210 pound husband accidentally bounces you off the mat…” America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC. Results of Tuesday shows air Wednesdays at 8pm.
