90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is the show that follows six couples, who have started romantic relationships online, when they meet for the first time in person. Six of the people are Americans who have fallen in love with people who live in different countries. On Season 1, viewers watched American single mom Darcey, 42, travel to Amsterdam to meet her soul mate Jesse, a 24-year-old male model. In Season 2, Jesse travels to America (Middletown, CT) and reunites with Darcey, who is now a blonde! At her home, Jesse meets Darcey’s teenage daughters. In his stoic way, Jesse says, “It’s an illusion to think that I would be become a father, at this stage in our relationship.” Ouch.
During his visit, Jesse questions if “Darcey is able to fix herself.” Things really come to a boil when Jesse scolds Darcey at a restaurant. He tells her to, “Start acting your age,” which prompts Darcey to say, “I’m just tired of getting bullied.” After Jesse walks out of the restaurant saying “I’m done with you,” the camera catches up with Darcey on the sidewalk. She’s crying in disbelief: “The love of my life is shutting me out. I don’t know what to do.” (You could run, Darcey. Just sayin’.) 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC.
