On Season 7 of Basketball Wives, Jackie Christie is rehearsing for a play titled “Angry Insecure Men.” During the final rehearsal, just days before the opening, Jackie can’t remember her lines which frustrates everybody including the director Reggie Gaskins, and the playwright Angel Terron. Jackie is frustrated too. The play is about domestic violence and it’s Terron’s real life story. Jackie is playing Terron’s mother, Mother Rose. When Jackie reveals that she doesn’t have her lines memorized, Terron stands up and yells at Jackie, “This is my story!”
Terron and director Reggie Gaskins have worked together before. Gaskins turned Terron’s novella Reply or Delete: An Internet Love Affair into a short film, Reply or Delete. It’s about a woman who’s bored in her marriage. When she receives a series of intriguing invitations from a handsome stranger on Facebook, she doesn’t know whether to Reply or Delete.
