In the Botched episode “Silicon Slip-Ups,” plastic surgeons Drs. Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif meet with three clients for consultations. One woman has a flesh-eating disease (MRSA) after her birthday boob job went wrong, and another woman wants to change her nose. The third is Detox, a famous “gaymous” famous drag queen who wants the doctors to fix his six-pack. This isn’t Detox’s (aka Matthew Sanderson’s) first plastic surgery rodeo. She guesses that she has “gallons” of silicone in her body. (Cheeks, lips, chin, pecs, shoulders, biceps, hips, butt, et al.) “But the one thing I regret doing is my six-pack. They’re not perfectly parallel. They look very uneven.” She adds, “I don’t want people to see those weird lumps.”
Detox competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked! (Season 5, 2013) and RuPaul’s Drage Race All Stars (Season 2, 2016), in the 2017 comedy musical movie Cherry Pop (as White Chocolate), and Rihanna’s 2008 music video “Disturbia,” (see video below), among other projects.
